[Elfie x 4]

Glitter body jewelry gift. Sometimes you need a super quick Elf idea. I usually have little gifts/treats handy for those evening I don't feel like doing much with Elfie.

"Hmm... I think these socks are just a bit too big for me."
(New Christmas socks - another simple idea.)

Hiding behind the couch eating our daughter's favorite treat.

[Beard Hall of Fame]

(Not all the beard pictures are in this photo. I printed quite a few of them.)

[the cutest poinsettia ever]

Afterwards I thought that I should have printed a picture of a real poinsettia flower and used that for this. But oh well. But the rest of you might consider that idea if you like things "just perfect".

Also, today is Finland's Independence Day so...

Ihanaa Itsenäisyyspäivää!

[peek-a-boo!]

Sometimes it's the simplest Elfie ideas that our daughter likes the best. I thought for sure this would be boring for her but she thought it was great. Go figure.

Changing pillow covers - one of life's simple little joys.

[It's that time of the year again...]

Elfie arrived a day late this year. I was hoping Elfie didn't show up until later but our daughter missed him too much so here we go again. He does make our Christmas season more special. Worth the effort.

Yes, I finally got my white Christmas tree. Since I can't have a real tree due to allergy to snow mold, might as well go all the way fake, right? :)
Love our new tree. It glows! It looked gorgeous even before we had decorated it.

We do have a green tree as well. A miniature tree from Ikea. Found these crystal ball ornaments that I think are perfect for it. Loving simple decorations. And I'm so into white right now. White is the new black, I guess, for me. :)

[Halloween gift tag printable]

Feel like surprising someone with a little treat for Halloween? Here's a Halloween gift tag you can print on cardstock paper. Just copy and paste the image into a Microsoft Word document. I used 0.3" as margins and two 3.3" columns. Then I was able to cut the tags with a 3" circle cutter.

[Mongolian wedding song]

After our recent trip to Banff, we stayed in Calgary to experience Illuminasia. Loved this Mongolian wedding song performance so much.

[already miss you card]

My husband had to go to an out of town convention. I slipped this card plus some chocolates into his luggage.

I'm pretty pathetic when he's gone - can't even sleep until I'm so exhausted I can't keep my eyes open at all. Thankfully, our daughter and I were able to join him in Banff couple of days later. Here's a funny sign I saw outside an Irish pub.

Personally, I absolutely can't stand alcohol and I don't drink it (I have seen too much misery it has caused in so many families) but I can still appreciate the humor behind this sign.

[gotta love good movies]

Spies, spies and more spies, funky retro style, beautiful people, Italy... What's there not to love?

Did I mention Italy? Truly the Italian language is the most romantic one in the world.

[one in a Minion!]

Guess what theme our girl chose for her birthday party?

I will post some more stuff later but here's a thank you card printable in case anyone else is doing a Minion party.

[Art Walk on Whyte Avenue]

Here's a peek at some local art spotted at Art Walk on Whyte Avenue

Wood burned art by Craig Boyle.

 Rhonda Lund

One of my favorites, for sure - Jared Robinson.

 :)

Our daughter wanted to get business cards from everyone. Hence the collection of cards.

We spent almost five hours on Whyte Avenue despite the super hot weather.  Thank goodness for Slurpees and root beer float flavored ice cream (yum!) to keep us cool.

Had spicey East Indian food at Naan-o-licious while being entertained with Bollywood music videos (some of them are absolutely hilarious!).

Me tired but happy.
